Some simple thoughts on LOVE

What if...

Every word
Every action
Eventually, every thought

Was because of LOVE

Not commitment
Not responsibility
Not obligation
Not assignment

Not because you are "supposed to"
Or you "should"
Or its what's "expected" of you

JUST LOVE

The Lord has asked us, above all else, to LOVE...love Him, love our neighbors (AKA our fellow brothers & sisters we encounter here on Planet Earth), love ourselves. EVERYTHING else we do is either a part of that or secondary to it.

So thankful for the Love God gives me each & every day!! I know His Plan for me, so different than anyone else's, is vastly better then any I could come up with. Seeing it unfold is miraculous...

WHY DO WE WAIT?

Why do we wait to serve?

We know someone is sick, or struggling, or lonely - burdened - but we wait.

We wait for someone else to give us an assignment.

We wait for the burdened soul to reach out to us.

We wait for the Spirit to prompt us with very specific instructions as to how we should act.

What if....

Our knowledge is all that is needed for us to reach out, to serve, to love, to be kind, to be His Hands.

What if our knowledge is all the invitation the Lord intends to offer us?
